10/20/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser WTP I sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Double Crown U” commercial proofs. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. There isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, but there is light spotty wear and minor pitting along both sides of the slide. Minor freckling on the front strap. Comes with a period-correct black bakelite grip – hairline crack on the right side and a chip on the left side. Comes with one proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
