4/22/22 – This is a very nice example of a 2nd variation (2nd run) Walther Model 8 manufactured in 1932-33. The gun is all matching and has the proper commercial “Crown N” proofs. It has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also spotty brown patina. There are also areas of wear on the underside of the trigger guard and both sides of the frame. Minor wear on the high edges of the slide and one “ring” of wear on the right side of the slide. Comes with very nice grips and one magazine that does not have the Walther banner on the bottom. Minty bore.
