Description
This is a Featherweight barrel for a pre 64 Winchester model 70 rifle, chambered in .270 Winchester. This barrel is not stamped with a manufacture date and it uses the 7 ramp indicating it was manufactured sometime between 1958 and the end of production in 1963.
Bluing and Metal – This bluing on this barrel is in very good condition; it’s dark but with some wear from contact with the stock. There are a few very small scratches but no deep gouges or dings.
Bore – 9/10 – The bore is in very good condition, with no pitting, and just slight amount of throat wear. The crown is undamaged. Borescope verified.
