This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1951 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing – 90% – This barrel has a little finish wear, including from contact with the stock, some along the top, and some around the muzzle.
Metal – Overall, the metal is in excellent condition. There are no notable pits, gouges, or scratches.
Bore – 9/10 – The bore has almost no throat wear and no pitting, resulting in a rating of 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
