Stock recoil springs offer low positive feeding, even when new. While adequate when using low power .45 ACP ammunition, these springs frequently become fatigued and over-compressed when used frequently or left compacted.
At that point, they will no longer feed .45 Super or.460 Rowland® ammunition reliably.
