AAC Ti-RANT 45 / 45M / 9M PISTON
The AAC Ti-Rant 45 and Ti-Rant 45M silencers can be used on numerous different calibers and firearms by simply swapping out the piston. The piston is a critical part for allowing Browning-action style firearms to function reliably, but it also governs the thread pitch when connecting the silencer to the host firearm. All Ti-Rant series pistons are heat treated and made from stainless steel. They are matte with a bead blasted finish, as well as engraved to show the thread pitch and details.
In addition to the normal variants, AAC produces a “SHORT” model piston in .578 designed specifically for 1911s without a full-length guide ride, as well as on the FN FNP Tactical 45. A 5/8×28 piston is also produced specifically for subsonic 300 Blackout use.
These are also compatible with the new Ti-Rant 9M.
