CGS HEKATE .338 SUPPRESSOR – DMLS TITANIUM 338 LAPUA AND 338 NORMA MAGNUM SILENCER
The CGS Hekate is a dedicated .338 suppressor built from Direct Metal Laser Sintered (DMLS) heat-treated 6AL4V titanium, purpose-engineered for 338 Norma Magnum and 338 Lapua Magnum. At 17.9 ounces, it is lighter than most 7.62 rifle suppressors on the market, a direct result of the full titanium DMLS construction that allows internal geometry not achievable through traditional manufacturing. CGS’s proprietary VCD (Variable Core Diameter) Technology, first developed for the Hyperion 762, delivers peak sound and flash signature reduction with minimal point of impact shift. There are no barrel length restrictions. Direct thread mount options cover 5/8×24 for most modern 30-cal rifles, 3/4×24 for standard .338 platforms, and M18x1.5 for 8.6 Blackout.
The DMLS manufacturing process gives the Hekate fewer points of failure than welded or machined suppressor designs, improved sound reduction, and increased durability across the full range of supported calibers. CGS engineered the Hekate specifically for the suppression challenges posed by large magnum cartridges rather than simply scaling up an existing 7.62 design, and the result is one of the most capable .338 cans currently available.

The CGS Hekate is one of the quietest, if not the quietest, 338 cans on the market.It’s a beast at reducing the audio signature on large rifles, but only a moderate 17.9 ounces in weight.This makes it lighter than most other rifle cans built for smaller calibers.This is mainly due to the full titanium construction and 3D printing.The manufacturing process allows CGS to make a can with geometry that is nearly impossible to do by traditional means, reducing weight and any chance for weak points in the metal.The 5/8×24 threading will mount to most modern 30-cal rifles on the market; the 3/4×24 is a standard pitch for many .338 rifles, and the M18x1.5 for 8.6.For those looking for 7.62 and 338 suppression, the CGS Hekate needs strong consideration.
