The CGS Hyperion K brings the same great features the full-size Hyperion has into a smaller package. At only 6.3″, it’s on the smaller side of silencers but can still provide fantastic decibel reduction. The 1.75″ diameter is slightly larger than many, allowing additional volume to decrease sound signature further. 3D printing has allowed CGS to integrate baffle design, which is not possible through traditional methods of production. This, combined with the material choice (full titanium), provides strength and durability not often seen from silencers this light.

For many shooters, weight matters. Be it on a lightweight hunting build or a PRS rifle where you are trying to move quickly. Length and decibel reduction are also essential factors. Finding the right combination of these three factors can sometimes be challenging. The CGS Hyperion K combines a light silencer, roughly 10 ounces, with a small footprint. At 6.3″, it will be on the shorter end of the spectrum while still performing well. Many shooters will still want to look at the full-size Hyperion QD for absolute decibel reduction. For those looking to trade a bit of performance for a substantial amount of length, the Hyperion K is a great option.
