The Energetic Armament Vox S is a full-size 7.62mm suppressor built from C300 Maraging nickel-cobalt superalloy. This aerospace-grade material, originally developed for NASA rocket motor casings, achieves a tensile yield strength of over 270ksi after heat treatment. At 1,000°F, C300 maintains more strength than stainless steel or titanium at room temperature. The result is a 12.9-ounce suppressor with full-auto capability and no barrel length restrictions.
The Vox S uses the 1.375×24 HUB mount pattern, making it compatible with Dead Air Key-Mo, SilencerCo ASR, Q Plan-B, and Area 419 Hellfire mounting systems. Shooters already invested in these platforms can use their existing muzzle devices without purchasing additional hardware. A 5/8×24 titanium direct thread adapter ships standard with the suppressor.
The removable end cap features a wipe holder for subsonic applications. When installed, the silicone wipe seals around exiting projectiles to reduce sound and flash. Remove the wipe for supersonic or high-volume shooting. Users can make replacement wipes from 1/8″ reinforced silicone sheet per ATF regulations.
CAPITOL ARMORY’S TAKE
The Vox S addresses two common suppressor tradeoffs: weight versus durability and mounting flexibility versus proprietary lock-in. At 12.9 ounces with the direct thread adapter, it weighs less than many titanium suppressors while handling sustained full-auto fire. The HUB mount pattern (1.375×24) means compatibility with four major mounting systems out of the box. Energetic Armament’s patented banded core construction allows fast factory repairs if a baffle strike occurs. For shooters who need a shorter suppressor, the Vox K2 offers similar materials in a 4.9-inch package. If sound reduction matters more than full-auto rating, the titanium Lux provides better suppression at 7.9 inches.
