Description
The Gemtech SFN-57 is a compact 5.7x28mm pistol suppressor. Gemtech developed it in 1998 for the FN Five-seveN pistol at FN’s request. It threads M10x1mm for the factory extended threaded barrel, and Gemtech states it can also be used in a subcaliber role on .17 HMR, .22 LR, and .22 Magnum.

NOTE: This is the SFN-57, threaded M10x1mm for the FN Five-seveN pistol. It is not the SAR-57 variant, which differs only in having a 1/2×28 rear mount for 5.7×28 carbines. To run the SFN-57, the host needs an extended, threaded Five-seveN barrel. The factory barrel is not threaded. Gemtech rates this can for the Five-seveN and its 5.7×28 ammunition specifically.
