DUAL-LOK 5.56 SUPPRESSION
The Griffin Dual-Lok 5 is the next evolution in quick-disconnect light-weight silencers without compromised durability. Griffin’s tubeless legacy began in 2010, setting the standard for industry designs over a decade later. The silencer can be lighter and quieter with tubeless construction, but it also requires more attention to engineering detail. The Dual-Lok series has exceeded the durability and service life of traditionally constructed suppressors by being made from 718 Inconel and 17-4 stainless steel from leading suppliers with innovative design and manufacturing practices. This includes laser welding to prevent human mistakes and increase consistency.
Backpressure and suppression are optimized for semi-automatic use. ECO-FLOW baffle technology provides optimal flash reduction, suppression, and reduction in blow-back. This translates to a more pleasant shooting experience on platforms such as the AR-15. The patent pending front cap further reduces external flash and enhances sound performance.
The Dual-Lok system is integrated into the silencer body to provide maximum accuracy and enhance durability. A precision taper interface between the muzzle device and mount keeps POI shift consistent and repeatable. An ACME thread allows for quick installation and attachment without errors. Positive spring tension uses a redundant locking collar for secondary retention. The anti-rotation teeth ensure the silencer doesn’t back off under extreme circumstances.
