Designed by Petr Janda, a longtime KA-BAR designer best known for the FIN line, the KA-BAR® Apex is a slim, robust fixed blade built to excel in tight corners and confined spaces. Purpose-driven and highly controllable, the Apex delivers precision without sacrificing strength.
The 3.9-inch clip point blade is crafted from D2 tool steel, offering excellent edge retention, durability, and wear resistance. A flat grind and 20-degree edge angle provide clean cutting performance and reliable control. The glass-filled nylon handle delivers a secure, ergonomic grip in a compact profile, making the Apex comfortable and confident in hand.
Paired with a hard plastic sheath for safe carry and storage, the Apex is an ideal choice for tactical utility, everyday carry, and detailed cutting tasks.
