Custom Shop Gunsmiths will convert a factory Remington bolt (purchased or sent in) to military specs with a 5/16-18 threaded conversion. 5/18-18 is original spec for the US Military, but is not the same as 5/16-24 thread found on PTG’s custom bolt knobs. 5/16-18 thread military knob is sold separately. Bolt assembly and disassembly charges are extra costs if bolt is not received stripped and clean.Return shipping charges will be finalized after work is done, they may need to be adjusted.
