IMPROVED 12TH MODEL
The Otter Creek Labs OCM5 is an improved version of Ops Inc.’s 12th Model / AEM5. It remains the same aesthetically and utilizes the same mounting system. However, it is now lighter, quieter, and has less backpressure. It’s still a precision rifle suppressor and compatible with all 12th Model and AEM5 accessories. You can use the same brakes and collars that are true to the original silencer’s legacy.
CAPITOL ARMORY’S OPINION
The OCM5 can’t be discussed without bringing up the 12th Model and AEM5. The silencer design and mounting system have a rich history of actual-world use and are desired by many folks building a clone-correct MK12. While the AEM5 is traditional, it’s a bit heavier and starting to show its age. The OCM5 is lighter and quieter, yet still retains the clone-correct look and mounting system. It can be used with Allen’s muzzle device and locating colors. Also notable is the scarcity and long wait to obtain an AEM5. The OCM5 is an excellent alternative for anyone looking to build out and enjoy an MK12 clone.
