RIFLE THREAD SPACER – 1/2×28 RIMFIRE
Many .22 LR barrels are threaded at AR-15 thread lengths, which are longer than the standard 0.400″ recommended for rimfire suppressors. When threads are too long, the suppressor cannot fully seat against the barrel shoulder. This reduces blast chamber space and accelerates baffle erosion.
A rifle thread spacer corrects this by taking up the excess thread length so the suppressor shoulders correctly and stays concentric with the bore. It threads onto the barrel behind the suppressor and sits between the barrel shoulder and the suppressor’s mount face.
Capitol Armory carries both the SilencerCo and Dead Air versions. Both are threaded 1/2×28 and work with all brands of rimfire suppressors.
