Description
The Ruger Precision Rifle Gen 3 is a highly advanced firearm designed for precision shooting. The medium-contour barrel is .75″ at the muzzle and features a Ruger Precision® Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake, which reduces recoil and minimizes noise and blast. The patented multi-magazine interface accepts AICS and M110/SR-25/DPMS/Magpul-style magazines, providing versatility in magazine choice. The rifle also features a Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger with a pull range of 2.25 to 5 pounds.
The in-line recoil path manages recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock, providing maximum accuracy potential. The Ruger Precision® MSR stock with QD sling attachment points features a bottom Picatinny rail and soft rubber buttpad. The 15″ aluminum free-float handguard is black hard-coat anodized aluminum and features Magpul® M-LOK® slots on all four sides for easy mounting of M-LOK-compatible rails and accessories. The rifle is highly customizable, with adjustable pull and comb height length, and accepts any AR-style stock.
The Ruger Precision Rifle Gen 3 is highly durable and features a cold hammer-forged, chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R Rifling, a three-lug bolt with 70° throw, and a precision CNC-machined upper receiver and one-piece bolt from pre-hardened 4140 chrome-moly steel. The lower magazine well halves are precision machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum and are Type III hard-coat anodized for maximum durability. The rifle includes two 10-round Magpul® PMAG® magazines.
