’Hatka’ is a peculiar Finnish word and is used exclusively in the phrase ‘ottaa hatkat’, meaning ‘to take off’ or ‘to run away’. That is what this compact daypack is designed for: to escape the daily grind and get lost on the trails and in nature. Despite being a relatively small bag, the Savotta Hatka 12L has a lot of cool features. Basically, it is a simple roll-top bag that can be carried using the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps can be stored away in a pocket on the back. This same compartment will hold a drinking bag. When you open the bag, you’ll find 2 small pockets in addition to the main compartment. This makes it easy to find even the smallest items in your bag. Moreover, the outside of the bag has two rows of PALS webbing, which is also MOLLE compatible. This allows you to attach small pouches.
