This KBA Custom muzzle shoulder ring is a precision-machined ring that slips over the existing muzzle threads on a SCAR 17S rifle. It precisely bears against the small factory barrel shoulder to create a larger, true shoulder, which allows any muzzle device to be installed and aligned correctly. The shoulder ring is crafted from heat-treated 17-4PH stainless steel and features a Melonite coating. The ring has an outside diameter of .75″ and is sized to leave .60″ of muzzle threads exposed.
This is the perfect option for any SCAR customer running a suppressor or non-factory muzzle device, and especially for those running Thunder Beast, YHM, Gemtech, or AAC mounts, which do not make contact with the barrel shoulder.
