The SilencerCo ASR Closed-Tine Flash Hider is a 1/2×28 muzzle device for 5.56/.223 hosts built to serve two roles: meaningful flash reduction during unsuppressed fire and a direct interface point for the SilencerCo Active Spring Retention (ASR) mount system. The closed-tine design eliminates the exposed prongs found on traditional 3-prong flash hiders, removing snag points that catch on vegetation, gear, and kit in the field. The nitride black finish provides corrosion resistance for hard use, and no Rocksett or shims are required for installation. This flash hider accepts the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Integrated ASR mounts, covering a wide range of SilencerCo suppressors, including the Omega 300, Hybrid 46, Saker ASR 556K, Velos LPB, and many others.

If you are running an ASR-compatible suppressor, this muzzle device doesn’t get enough attention. The closed-tine design is an improvement over open-prong flash hiders for anyone doing field work. There are no prongs to hook on a sling, catch on brush, or dig into a drag bag. It handles flash reduction cleanly on its own, and when you mount a suppressor over it, you get a fast attachment point with the retention you expect from the ASR system.
Installation is straightforward. No Rocksett, no shims, no additional products needed. If you are setting up a new ASR host or replacing an existing muzzle device on a dedicated suppressor rifle, this flash hider checks every box.

PAIRING NOTES
The SilencerCo ASR Closed Tine Flash Hider is perfect for 5.56 SBRs when hunting at night or for tactical use on the job. If you’ve got a DBAL on your duty MK18, or hunt hogs with a PVS-14 on your helmet, then you know the negative aspects of muzzle flash. Let’s be honest, though, if you care about flash reduction, you’re going to have a silencer on the end of that rifle. Toss a Velos LBP on and knock down some noise while you’re at it.
