Description
1/23/23 – This is an original Remington M1917 bayonet made in 1913 for use during WW1. The blade is in great condition with light surface patina throughout with some darker spots of discoloration, but no rust or pitting. The edge shows a few dents and dings from use, but there’s no signs of sharpening. Maker stamped and dated on one side of the ricasso, while the other side has British proof stamps, indicating this was likely paired with an Enfield rifle during WW1. The crossguard and pommel have surface patina and light wear throughout. The wood handle has some dents and bruises as well as a few mild chips, but they’re still intact and attached. Comes with an original scabbard as shown.
