Description
8/4/22 – This is an original 1941 dated K98 bayonet with a matching numbered scabbard and leather frog. The bayonet blade is in great overall condition with excellent bluing and some mild finish loss / scabbard wear. No signs of sharpening. The metal pommel, hand guard, and spine of the handle have dark patina and aging throughout. The scabbard is worn with brown surface patina and most of the finish missing. There are no dents, however. The leather frog is aged and has surface wear throughout but is 1942 dated on the back and completely intact.
