10/27/22 – This is a nice example of a BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching (except for the rear toggle pin) and has the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 60% of its original finish. There is noticeable spotty wear on the whole gun, probably most obvious on the grip straps. Some tiny dings and scratches here and there, most noticeable on the left side of the gun. There are areas of minor pin-pricking on the barrel and left side of the frame. Comes with mismatched period-correct grips – there is a chip in the corner of the left panel and a hard-to-see hairline crack on the right. Also comes with a post-war magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. This would make a great shooter.
