11/28/22 – This is a fairly scarce 1941 dated holster, designated for a Sauer 38h pistol. The holster is waffen military proof stamped on the closure strap. There’s a maker code and date stamp under the closure strap, jhg 41. The interior leather is ink stamped “Sauer 7,65 H”. This is fairly scarce as most holsters don’t have the “H” designation for Sauer 38h. The holster has some mild scuffs and surface wear on the exterior leather but no major issues. Normal pliability and no major issues. The interior leather has some writing from previous owners, as shown. The stitching is all original and in great shape.
