Description
1/16/23 – This is a nice example of a “bcd 43” Gustloff Werke K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The gun is mismatched but does have the proper Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. No visible numbers or markings on the stock. The gun is in nice condition overall. However, there is noticeable spotty wear and spotty oxidation covering most of the metal parts. Areas of heavy spotty oxidation on the butt plate. The wood stock has no major damage, but there are dings and bruises throughout. A few more noticeable gouges here and there. The bore has great rifling with some minor pin-pricking here and there.
