Description
3/1/22 – This is an excellent example of a Gustloff Werke K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. The gun is mostly matching except for the floor plate and rear sight. The barrel bands, stock, bolt release, and butt plate are un-numbered. The stock has no visible markings. The gun does have the proper Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. There is minor muzzle wear and areas of splotchy discoloration on the top of the receiver and on both barrel bands. Some light freckling and pin-pricking on the floor plate and trigger group. The stock is near-mint, but was either heavily sanded or replaced. The bore is excellent with great rifling.
