Description
1/7/22 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during. It is all matching and has a fully intact mum stamp on the receiver. It comes with a period-correct bayonet and hard rubber scabbard. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition, retaining most of its bluing. There is some spotty oxidation on the front portion of the barrel and around the muzzle. Some splotchy discoloration on the top of the receiver, bolt handle, and a little bit on the underside of the trigger guard. Some light brown patina on the floor plate. The wood stock is very nice with minor dings and dents here and there, especially near the action. The bore is mint.
