7/28/22 – This is a beautiful Mauser K98 from 1941 with scarce ‘ar’ receiver code.It has all matching numbers throughout, including the stock, bolt assembly, trigger assembly, bands, barrel, etc.It has fantastic bluing throughout with minimal edge wear and no oxidation.Minty bore, looks very lightly used.The stock is in great condition but it does appear it was lightly sanded at some point.The waffenamts and serial number are still visible though.It has no notable cracks but there is a couple spots of discoloration on the underside toward the buttplate.Comes with an excellent original sling, as well as a sight hood and cleaning rod.Sling is 1942 dated.
