10/13/22 – This is a rare Borchardt accessory that acts as both a cleaning kit and a barring block (manual hold open device). The cleaning kit is shaped like a magazine for the Borchadt so it can be used to hold open the slide when inserted. The base unscrews and holds cleaning rods and pins that screw together as a useful cleaning kit. Great overall condition with brass rods and wood exterior shell. The spine of the shell is marked “Gesetzlich Geschutzt.” There are no other markings.
