4/1/22 – This is a very interesting and somewhat unique magazine. We think this is an extremely rare variation, early WW2 production magazine as there are no markings or stamps on neither the tube nor base. This is typically found on later wartime production magazines, but this magazine has an earlier nickel finish. The aluminum base shows nice, uniformly circular ears that show no signs of alteration. The base also is still rounded and has no scratches or dings that would indicate alteration. Our conclusion is this magazine was never stamped, proofed, or numbered. Overall the condition is excellent with a fully functional spring. A very rare find.
