Description
4/28/22 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. The gun is all matching and has the proper stick wing “Eagle 63” Nazi military acceptance proofs. It has an “S/42” Mauser factory code on the toggle, much rarer than the “42” variation of this same year. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is minor muzzle wear, a couple of very light streaks of wear on the top of the barrel, and hints of wear on the high edges. Minor freckling on the grip straps and some tiny dots of discoloration here and there on the slide. Comes with excellent matching-numbered grips and a period-correct but mismatched magazine. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling and some minor frosting in the grooves.
