1/10/23 – This is an excellent example of a BYF 42 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes with a set of original black bakelite “Black Widow” grips and an original “Black Widow” magazine – no cracks or chips. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its original finish. Very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and hints of wear on the front of the side rails. One streak of wear on the underside of the barrel. A few light scratches / handling marks on the grip straps. The bore is nice – strong rifling, but there is light freckling throughout.
