9/6/22 – This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 38 Carbine issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is all matching, but the original Imperial mum stamp on the receiver has been defaced. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with very little finish loss in the original bluing. There is finish missing where the mum was ground and some very light brown spotty brown patina on the floor plate. Minor wear around the edges of the butt plate. The stock has noticeable dings, bruises, and scratches throughout, but there is no major damage. Comes with an original cleaning rod. Mint bore.
