Description
12/20/22 – This is an excellent example of a 2″ Colt Detective Special Revolver, manufactured in 1952 and chambered in .38 Spl. It is all matching and comes with its original matching-numbered box. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the high edges in general and hints of thinning on the grip straps and both sides of the frame where it meets the barrel. Light roll mark on the cylinder. Fitted with an excellent pair of marbled brown plastic grips. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth.
