10/15/21 – This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver from World War II.It’s accompanied by a factory letter stating it was shipped to Charlotte in January of 1944 as part of a United States Maritime Commission contract order.It’s all matching and original with 96-97% of the parkerized finish remaining.Standard cylinder wear from turn marks and a little more on the muzzle and high edges.The grips are original to the gun and the right panel is correctly numbered and matching to the firearm.Left grip panel does have a repaired crack in it.Flaming bomb and ‘P’ inspection proofs on frame.Minty bore.
