2/6/23 – This is an original leather K98 sling with keeper from WW2. The sling has nice dark brown leather that shows very minor wear. There is some surface wrinkling and minor cracking in some areas of the leather, but this doesn’t affect functionality and the sling overall is structurally sound. The sling comes with a leather keeper as shown. The keeper appears to have been stamped after production. We can’t read / decipher this stamp as it’s fading in certain areas as shown. Measures about 47 inches long when laid flat.
