5/31/22 – This is a fairly scarce late WW2 variation Type 30 Japanese Arisaka bayonet. The bayonet comes with end-of-war features such as a straight pommel, slab side blade, and wooden (bamboo) scabbard. The blade is in great condition with very nice finish throughout and no rust or pitting. The handle has no significant cracks or chips. The pommel and hand guard have some mild surface patina and discoloration but no excessive wear. The scabbard has most of the painted finish in tact and no major cracks or issues. Comes with a very nice rubberized canvas frog. A very nice, high end late war example.
