Description
8/1/22 – This is a later wartime production M40 Luftschutz beaded helmet. The helmet is in great overall condition with a fairly clean shell and interior liner still intact. The shell shows typical surface patina and mild aging, but there’s no dents nor any rust or pitting. The front logo is in excellent condition and rates at about 90-95% overall. The interior shell is maker stamped “EF68” (nice large size), and serial numbered in the back visor. The liner shows some mild surface wear but is in great overall condition. The original later-war style chin strap is broken and cracked, but still attached as shown.
