Description
1/17/23 – This is a minty example of a “42 Code” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. Areas of very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the very front edges of the side rails, and one small spot at the base of the front strap. A few tiny handling marks here and there, most noticeable on the side plate. Very nice grip straps. Fitted with very nice wood grips that are mismatched to the gun. Comes with non-matching but period-correct “Eagle 655” proofed magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with some very minor freckling in the grooves.
