1/5/23 – This is a near-mint Mauser P.38 with ‘byf 44’ slide and dual-tone finish.The ‘e’ block examples actually date to early in 1945, and this one features a phosphate frame/slide with blued barrel.Only about 18,000 dual-tones were produced, compared to ~125k of the other ‘byf 44’ variations.It has just a hint of edge wear on the slide and a little discoloration on the firing pin cover. Mint bore and excellent grips.Magazine is E/135 marked.Fully functional, including de-cocker.
