Description
1/10/23 – This is a minty example of a Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown U” commercial proofs. There is a “Germany” export marking on the right side of the frame. It has retained about 98% of its original bluing. There is just a hint of muzzle wear and an area of very minor wear around the extractor. The small parts still have most of their original fire-bluing. Fitted with an excellent period-correct wood grip and comes with one proper magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is light spotty oxidation throughout.
