3/3/22 – This is a rare Krieghoff Luger from 1936 with an S Code on the receiver. There were only about 3,600 of this variation produced. This one is all matching and has the proper Krieghoff “Eagle L 2” Luftwaffe acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 85-90% of its original finish.There’s mild finish loss on the sideplate, muzzle and right side rail.There’s also some wear on the bottom of the front strap, but both straps show patina and oxidation.Excellent straw on the small parts.Original Krieghoff grips with handling wear on both panels, and a chip in the upper corner of the left panel.WW2-era Nazi magazine but Mauser-made.Strong, shiny bore.
