2/25/21 – This is a rare, Chinese Maxim Machine Gun Type 24 tag. The Chinese made type 24 machine guns between 1935-1937 with a total of 36,000 produced. This tag would have been on the top cover of the gun, a brass plaque with a Swastika and Chinese markings. Numbered 1855. There is some mild wear on the brass but nothing outside of normal aging. Measures approx. 2.75 x 3.10 inches.
