3/24/22 – This is a rare, early WW2 production M1 Garand bayonet by Wilde Tool. The bayonet has been cut down, but is still in great condition and all original. The base of the blade is maker stamped, dated, and ordnance stamped. No signs of sharpening along the edge, and there is minimal surface discoloration. The hand guard has patina throughout and is missing most of the finish. The brown plastic handles are correct and early variation. Comes with an original scabbard. These are by far the hardest-to-find maker of M1 bayonets from WW2.
