1/19/23 – This is an original SA Dagger from WW2. The dagger blade is excellent with visible cross graining on each side, and minimal speckling discoloration. There’s some mild rub and scabbard wear throughout the blade. No signs of sharpening. Maker stamped by a semi-scarce maker, C. Eppenstein & Sohne. The early nickel crossguard and pommel are both in great condition with minor surface patina. The wood grip has a few small dents and dings, as well as cracks on each side, stemming from the pommel. The font of the grip has a small chip in the top left corner. The back of the grip has chipping and a notable crack at the top – see photos. The grip is still intact despite this wear. The scabbard is in great condition with some mild paint loss along the edges, but no dents.
