The minds behind Spartan Blades are Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey, both former members of the US Special Forces with over 40 years of combined experience in the American military. While still in service, Iovito was already making knives for his fellow Special Forces operatives. After their time in the military, both men went into the tactical gear business. At some point, they realised that their military background, passion for knives and business acumen made a perfect combination. And so, in 2008, Spartan Blades was born. Since then, the pair have won several major awards and continue to build on their success story every day.
