SUREFIRE PISTOL SILENCEThe SureFire Ryder 9M Ti is a titanium suppressor for 9mm pistols and carbines. The titanium tube, built to the same standards as the SOCOM line, provides a strong housing without additional weight. The proprietary pig-nose baffles are milled from heat-treated stainless steel bar stock for durability and extended cleaning options. Additionally, the suppressor is user serviceable and the baffles are numbered to ensure successful reassembly.
Fluted to further reduce weight, the tube on the SureFire Ryder 9M features a durable Cerakote finish in multiple colors, protecting it from abrasions and corrosion.
CAPITOL ARMORY’S OPINION
The Ryder 9 is a lightweight offering from SureFire. It can handle full auto fire, but is best suited on traditional Browning action firearms. At under 10 ounces, it’s on the lighter side of pistol suppressors. The baffle design is optimized for maximum decibel reduction, which is something not always found in other SureFire cans. Should the shooter wish to utilize it for 22LR or cast lead projectiles, spacers prevent the tube from being fused to the individual baffles. This makes disassembly much more simple than some competing products. For someone who loves SureFire products and wants a solid, lightweight pistol silencer, the Ryder 9 is a strong option.
